As many of you may know, 4Minute and Sistar recently released their comeback videos for the 1st half of 2012. Neither of them were of the "cute" concept. As for male K-Pop boybands like B1A4, they also made a 180-degree turn from their super cutesy image. In a result, will the "Cute" concept for K-Pop finally disappear?
If you ask my opinion, ABSOLUTELY YES. It has become too common or too "mainstream" for a lot of K-Pop fans that it has been used over and over, and that fans don't buy it anymore, except for few newbies though. I also doubt that A Pink would continue on their "Cute" concept. Others like Dal Shabet and Boyfriend have or will turn into the sexy/bad boy concept on their next comeback. YES, the cute concept will come back, but for like 3-4 years from now. Correct me if I'm wrong on that prediction by the way ;).
